If your dog finishes dinner in under a minute, they are swallowing air with every mouthful.

That causes the burping and the yellow bile vomit an hour later that most owners put down to a sensitive stomach. In deep-chested breeds — boxers, great danes, setters, weimaraners — it also raises the risk of bloat, which can kill within hours and needs emergency surgery.
