Dog Life Jacket - Small, Buoyancy Aid with Rescue Handle

Most people assume every dog can swim. Plenty cannot, and some of the ones that can still drown — because getting out is the hard part. Pool walls are vertical, riverbanks are steep, and a tired dog in deep water has nothing to push against.

This is a buoyancy aid. It holds your dog higher in the water so their head stays clear, and it has a sturdy handle on the back so you can lift them out without leaning in and going in yourself.

Which dogs need one most

Read this before you use it

This is a buoyancy aid, not a lifesaving device, and it does not replace watching your dog. Never leave a dog in or near water unattended while wearing it.

Check the fit before the first swim: snug enough that you cannot pull it over their head, loose enough for two fingers under the straps. Inspect the handle stitching and buckles each time — that handle is the part you will need in a hurry.

Sizing runs small. This is the Small. Measure your dog's chest girth behind the front legs and compare it against the size chart in the images rather than guessing from their weight. If they are between sizes, contact us before ordering — a life jacket that does not fit is worse than none, because it gives you false confidence.

First time in

Let them wear it dry indoors first, then in shallow water where they can stand. A dog that panics in a jacket learns to fear the water, which is the opposite of the point.
